About The Photos And Me

At Point Lobos State Reserve, CA, 2016

Welcome to my site. The large photo that you see above was taken in 2011 at Arches National Park. If you look carefully, you can see two people, my wife and myself. I chose this photo for two reasons. First, I love national parks, and Delicate Arch is one of my favorite spots in all of the places I’ve been. I also like it because when I’m in nature, I have some of my best times of worshiping the Lord Jesus Christ, Who is also the Creator of all. This photo shows the immensity of one of His most magnificent pieces of creation in comparison to my wife and me, who are tiny in comparison but are loved immensely by the Lord.

In the smaller photo at left, you can see a photo of me taken in 2016. No surprise, it was also taken at one of my favorite spots.

My profile photo shows a pair of affectionate elephant seals. It was taken by my wife at Piedras Blancas, also in 2016.

I’m a retired ESL teacher; I taught for five years in China and 27 years in the U.S. A long time ago, I was also a technical writer for a year. Now I have the time to blog, which is one of the things I’ve wanted to do for several years.
